Translating research into action

Dr Sarah Nabachwa’s work focused on the importance of using locally contextualized case studies when teaching business in Africa. During her fellowship at Oxford, she developed business case studies, specific to the Ugandan business environment to make them more relevant and engaging for her students. Dr Nabachwa believes that the development of more African business case studies will be beneficial for teaching and learning business on the continent and beyond.

The AfOx Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford was a pivotal and enriching experience, fostering personal and professional development through engagement with esteemed faculty at Saïd Business School.This once in a lifetime opportunity has been transformative leading to unique opportunities since returning to Uganda.
