Mohamed Fadel Semane

Master of Business Administration

Mohamed Fadel Semane is an entrepreneur and logistics expert from Mauritania, currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Oxford and a member of Mansfield College. Fadel is passionate about using logistics innovation to advance sustainable development across West Africa.

He is the co-founder and Director of Operations at Pégase Logistique, a Mauritania-based logistics and supply chain company with operations in Mali. Since its founding in 2019, Pégase has delivered transportation, freight forwarding and consultancy services to clients including MINUSMA, SOMELEC and the U.S. Embassy. Prior to launching Pégase, Fadel worked as a Supply Chain Officer at the World Food Programme’s Regional Bureau in Dakar, where he oversaw logistics operations across 21 West African countries. His experience in humanitarian and commercial supply chains has shaped his ability to manage complex operations across diverse contexts.

Fadel holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from Rennes School of Business and an Applied Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management and Transportation from the University of Nouakchott Professional Institute. As the first Mauritanian to attend Oxford’s Saïd Business School, he is committed to leveraging this opportunity to sharpen his strategic and leadership skills, while connecting with a global network of changemakers.
