Mohamed has moderated high-profile literary and political events, engaging with thinkers such as Nuruddin Farah, Juliane Okot Bitek, Rinaldo Walcott and Zukiswa Wanner. During the #RejectFinanceBill2024 protests in Kenya, he led political education sessions connecting historical liberation movements to current activism.
