Cyrine Mokrani

Cyrine Mokrani is a Tunisian student pursuing an MSc Economics for Development at the University of Oxford. She is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and a member of Lincoln College. She dreams of building a better world for generations to come.

She recently graduated from the University of Warwick, where she studied Economics and Politics as a double-scholar, received a First Class degree, and was awarded for Outstanding Student Contribution to the department. During her time at Warwick, she took on several leadership roles, including heading the Warwick Africa Summit, the Warwick United Nations Conference and the Warwick Economics Summit.

Cyrine also served as Director of Consulting at 180 Degrees Consulting, the world’s largest social impact student consultancy, advising on Africa-based projects. She was the official Student Representative at the EU-funded EUTOPIA alliance, where she helped shape the future of education. She has also studied at Sciences Po Paris during her year abroad, and worked on sports business development through several organisations. In addition, she has interned at Goldman Sachs and Economic Insight in London, and worked as a research assistant at both Sciences Po and Warwick.

Outside her academic and professional work, Cyrine is a personal trainer, a basketball student-athlete and a solo singer, with a strong passion for promoting sport at all levels. At Oxford, she is excited to engage her interest in economics and development to help shape the future of Africa and the world.
