MSc in Law and Finance, St Antony's College

Uganda

Daniella Mushikazi Kagina is an Ugandan lawyer pursuing an MSc in Law and Finance at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford, as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar. She is a member of St Antony’s College.

Daniella has worked as a corporate lawyer for the past four years at MMAKS Advocates – ALN Uganda. She has worked on a range of commercial transactions and advisory matters in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and financial services.

At Oxford, she is most excited about the unique experience of attending both the Faculty of Law and the Saïd Business School. She hopes to deepen her understanding of the business and financial concepts underpinning commercial transactions and to become a more rounded and specialised transaction advisor. She is particularly interested in development finance, project finance, and transaction structuring.

Outside academics, she looks forward to exploring Oxford life and cycling around the city.
