Master of Business Administration(MBA)

Esther M. Manthi is a Kenyan AI advocate and founder of Brains For AI Africa, a nonprofit equipping underserved communities with AI and digital literacy skills. Since 2023, her initiative has reached thousands of learners across Africa—including high school students, educators, and young professionals—through workshops, school clubs, and locally tailored training programs.

She is currently pursuing an Master of Business Administration(MBA) at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, Forté Fellow, and member of St Cross College. Her work focuses on inclusive technology, locally driven innovation, and ensuring Africa is not only a user of technology—but a creator and leader in the digital age.

In 2025, Esther was selected for the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Makers programme, with her work showcased on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square. She was named the She-Preneur STEM Innovator of the Year in 2024, and has been featured by BusinessBeat24, Stratcom Media, and the Nairobi Goldrush Podcast.

After Oxford, Esther plans to scale Brains For AI Africa into a pan-African movement that expands opportunity through education, innovation, and equity.
