Fatimah Adubiaro

MSc in Clinical Embryology

Fatimah Adubiaro is a Nigerian medical doctor with a strong academic and clinical background. She is pursuing an MSc in Clinical Embryology at the University of Oxford as a member of St Hugh's College. She is Mastercard Foundation Scholar.

Fatimah holds a First Class Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and an MBBS, both from the University of Lagos. During medical school, she achieved an exceptional academic record, earning 10 out of 13 possible distinctions and graduating as the Best Student in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In recognition of her achievements, she received four awards at graduation, including the Emeritus Professor Osato Giwa-Osagie Prize.

She is passionate about women’s health, with particular interests in infertility and HIV. Fatimah has contributed to academic research and has published work in reputable international journals.

At Oxford, she aims to deepen her knowledge of in vitro fertilisation (IVF), with a focus on pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT). Her long-term goal is to make fertility care more accessible and affordable across Africa by delivering advanced reproductive healthcare solutions.
