Nadia Hassan

Master of Business Administration(MBA)

Nadia Hassan is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Oxford from Nigeria, pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Saïd Business School. She is a member of St Cross College.

Nadia is a development professional with a strong passion for entrepreneurship, social impact, and economic transformation across Africa. She holds a First-Class degree in Economics from Covenant University, Nigeria.

Her career spans social impact consulting, entrepreneurial investment, and business development. She has designed and delivered training programmes and managed high-impact grant portfolios that have trained over 3,000 small business owners across sectors such as agriculture, technology, finance, and rural development.

Nadia’s work has supported women, farmers and pastors in low-income communities, created employment, and contributed to building resilient communities in 12 African countries, including Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Eswatini. Her dedication is grounded in her journey as a founder, which shaped her mission to ensure entrepreneurs have access to the resources and networks they need to succeed.

Beyond her professional commitments, Nadia is a storyteller who uses photography to document narratives of resilience and hope. She is also an active volunteer, bringing empathy and service to her leadership approach.

At Oxford, Nadia aims to deepen her expertise in entrepreneurship ecosystem building and to leverage Oxford’s global platform to amplify opportunities for African entrepreneurs.
