Tadzoka Pswarayi

Master of Public Policy

Tadzoka Pswarayi is a social innovator from Zimbabwe, currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. She is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Oxford and a member of Wadham College. Tadzoka is passionate about building systems that empower individuals—especially those from marginalised backgrounds—to thrive.

She holds a triple major in Political Science, English and International Studies from Saint Louis University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was recently recognised with the Outstanding Alumni Award. Over the past decade, Tadzoka has led Impact Hub Harare, a social innovation hub supporting entrepreneurs and changemakers across Zimbabwe. Under her leadership, the hub has delivered programmes such as Accelerate2030, the Bayer Women’s Entrepreneurship Award, Microworkspace and the Digital Skills 4 Youth project. These initiatives have reached hundreds in both urban and rural communities through technology, business training and creative community engagement. Tadzoka also contributes to global innovation spaces as an evaluator, mentor and speaker.

At Oxford, she aims to scale her impact by shaping inclusive, practical and justice-centred public policy. She is particularly interested in reimagining development models across Africa and looks forward to learning from and contributing to the AfOx community of scholars and practitioners.
