The AfOx-OCIS Visiting Fellowships are specifically targeted at those wishing to carry out research in classical Islamic sciences, the social and intellectual history of the Muslim world, Islamic finance (related to the social and economic development of Muslim societies), Science, Technology and Environment in Muslim societies and Muslims in Britain and the West. We particularly welcome applications with relevance to Islam and Muslim societies.

The AfOx-OCIS Visiting Fellows will be affiliated with the University of Oxford and associated with the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies for one year. While in Oxford, the AfOx-OCIS Visiting Fellows will reside at OCIS, where they will also have common room and dining rights
